FAQs

Q?

What color is the background?

A.

WallPressions only sells the highest quality single color vinyl die-cut decals. The background is removed leaving only the image. The decals will look painted on when applied. The background color will be whatever the wall surface color is you are applying it to.

Q?

How do you size the decals? Is the size listed the width or the height?

A.

If both dimensions are not given, the decal is sized at the largest part.

For example, a decal that is taller than it is wide with have the height listed first. A decal that is wider than it is tall will have the width listed first.  Adding text to the decal will change the overall dimensions. Any text that is added is included in the size of the decal which will slightly reduce the size of the actual artwork.

Q?

How is my order shipped?

A.

All orders are shipped United States Postal Service and delivered with your mail. The decals are carefully packaged in our custom made triangle boxes to make sure the decal is kept secured and prevented from flattening. The decal will come rolled up and will need to be unrolled and laid flat upon receipt. Please view our Shipping Information page for more specific details on the different shipping methods.

Q?

Do you make custom decals?

A.

Absolutely! We love to create and provide customized options for our customers. For a free quote and proof prior to ordering, please send us an email explaining your needs to info@wallpressions.com. Our design team will get to work and will provide you with a great design that will meet your needs and your tastes!

Q?

Do you have other colors than the ones listed on Amazon or eBay?

A.

If you need a color not listed please contact us first. We have many options and if you need a certain color, we have many options available. If we have the color we will be happy to process the order.

Q?

Do the decals adhere to canvas and fabrics?

A.

Not very well. We have used them for stencils for painting the image onto the canvas or fabric. To make a stencil for painting or glass etching the decals are cut in reverse. The image is removed from the vinyl. The paint used for painting on canvas and fabrics are called 1 Shot Painters, speed dry UV acrylic.

Q?

My WallPression won’t stick, what do I do?!

A.

Don' panic. We offer clear instructions with every purchase but the biggest problem we see is because the wall is dusty. Clean the wall with plain water to remove any dust and oily residue prior to applying. If the decal will not release from the backing properly, you can take a damp cloth and rub over the back to which helps release the backing from the transfer paper.

WallPressions' decals can be applied to windows, walls, cars, trucks, walls, boats, motorcycles, metal, most plastics, fiberglass, mailboxes, mirrors, aluminum etc.
